Every gift to the ASUF provides support for institutional advancement. Gifts made for endowment or current use contribute 2% of the amount of the gift to institutional advancement.
Endowments contribute 2% of market value annually for institutional advancement. Generally, this 2% is paid from reinvested earnings from the current year or a prior year.
Generally, funds at the Foundation are disbursed to the University to support the donor-designated purpose. If the funds are expended directly from the Foundation, there is a 2% fee.
