ASU at the West campus

ASU’s College of Human Services is a multidisciplinary academic unit that includes departments of communication studies, criminal justice and criminology, recreation and tourism management, and social work. The college hosts the department of nursing, ASU’s Lifelong Learning program including the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at ASU, the Partnership for Community Development, and the Center for Violence Prevention and Community Safety.

Students in the college pursue undergraduate degrees in criminal justice and criminology, communication studies, recreation and tourism management, and social work. A universitywide, graduate-level gerontology certificate program is also offered, as are master’s degrees in communication studies, criminal justice and social work.
