College of Technology and Innovation

Invest in ASU

The College of Technology and Innovation (CTI) offers undergraduate and graduate programs across three broad areas: engineering and technology, applied sciences and math, and management. The programs thrive under the guidance of an outstanding faculty with extensive expertise in many of the most important technological challenges that society face and who bring considerable industrial experience to bear on their teaching and research.

We are rapidly realizing a whole new way of thinking about technological innovation and entrepreneurship, and aligning our pedagogy, programs and discovery enterprise to reflect that new thinking. We have created a research and learning environment distinguished by a hands-on, project- and team-focused framework that is brought to life in laboratories, studios and flexible space.

Undergraduate and graduate curricula are modular in design, allowing students to achieve depth and also customize their degree programs to bridge disciplines. Deep relationships with industry and faculty with real-world experience translates to applied research and curricula that evolves to meet the needs of the 21st century.

This embodiment of our polytechnic values within the college’s culture is what sets us apart from other institutions that focus on basic research in engineering and technology. Armed with substantial knowledge about how people learn, we designed an environment for technical education and discovery suited to the needs of the 21st century.
