FURI - Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative Program

Learn more about your impact

The Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) enhances an undergraduate student’s engineering experience and technical education by providing hands-on lab experience, independent and thesis-based research, and travel to national conferences. Students conducting research through FURI spend a semester conceptualizing an idea, developing a plan and investigating their research question. Through this work, they are developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges in data, education, energy, health, security and sustainability.

Because of you, students are given the opportunity to develop an idea under the mentorship of a Fulton engineering faculty member, perform research, attend workshops, prepare research summaries and participate in the research symposium.
