SOLUR - School of Life Sciences Undergraduate Research

Learn more about your impact

The SOLUR Program provides stipends to School of Life Sciences undergraduate students to defray living expenses as they participate in research. Your gift helps provide stipends for more of our next-gen life scientists as they solve societal problems alongside experienced researchers, start building their scientific network and develop their professional, scientific writing and communication skills.

I really love that the SOLUR Program emphasizes scientific communication for non-specialist audiences. Being able to communicate in a very precise, yet relatable way is a skill that I have enjoyed building through SOLUR."

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
