ASU Local Student Emergency/Crisis Funds

Learn more about your impact

ASU Local sites are embedded in the heart of the communities ASU serves. Sites include the ASU California Center in Downtown Los Angeles and the ASU Barbara Barrett and Sandra Day O’Connor Washington Center in Washington, D.C. ASU Local provides students with mentoring, coaching and a career plan that prepares them for the job market.

Despite the support ASU Local students receive, some face unexpected financial emergencies that threaten to derail their academic journey. Your gifts to the ASU Local Student Emergency/Crisis Funds can help students overcome a crisis and continue their educational journey.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
