Learn more about your impact

The ASU School of Social Work is proud to be part of the Watts College of Public Service, the nation's premier academic institution for students committed to social change. We believe social work plays an important and integral role in designing just and effective solutions with the community and alongside our interdisciplinary colleagues.

I applied for support to relieve financial stress. This scholarship allows me to receive an education that will prepare me for the field I anticipate being a rewarding career. I plan to work in a local Tucson hospital and provide patients with support and resources during their diagnosis or illness. Thank you for allowing me to access the tools and education to impact the greater good within my community."

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
