The Ajamie Scholarship Fund was established by Thomas R. Ajamie, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Arizona State University. During his time at ASU, Mr. Ajamie served as student body president, was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, received the Leadership Scholarship and studied abroad at the University of Louvain in Belgium. Mr. Ajamie created this scholarship in honor of his father, Edgar, and his uncles, Amil and James, whose guidance and encouragement shaped his commitment to lifelong learning. The scholarship reflects their shared belief in the transformative power of education and promotes tolerance, equality and respect for others. The Ajamie Scholarship Fund supports undergraduate students in the Leadership Scholarship Program who demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion and respect for individuals of all backgrounds.
