Age-Friendly University Global Network

Learn more about your impact

Founded in 2012 through a partnership between Dublin City University, the University of Strathclyde and Arizona State University, the Age-Friendly University Global Network offers institutions the opportunity to learn about emerging age-friendly efforts and the opportunity to contribute to an educational movement of social, personal and economic benefit to students of all ages and institutions of higher education alike.

The Age-Friendly University Global Network consists of institutions of higher education around the globe that have endorsed the 10 Age-Friendly University principles and committed themselves to becoming more age-friendly in their programs and policies.

Arizona State University now serves as the global convenor and secretariat of the Age-Friendly University Global Network. Your donation supports the continued operations and expansion of the Age-Friendly University Global Network.

“This young and capable student was brave to include me in her recital. Reading about or knowing people in the ‘later‘ generations is different than dancing in their shoes. So many things go awry as one’s time marches on, making the actual performing something to contend with. Listening and doing, instead of directing and choosing, becomes a tool to relearn. And now I have a new friend, one to follow as she takes to the trail in the world of dance.”
