The Rasley Family Baseball Scholarship was established as a tribute to the parents of David Rasley Jr., who taught their children about giving back and were great examples for their boys. The Rasley family has always championed educational opportunities for all, especially for those desiring education but lacking the financial resources to act on their dreams. When you make a gift to the Rasley Family Baseball Scholarship Fund, you support their efforts and help cover costs for tuition, room and board, and books for members of the ASU baseball program.
Impact of Donor Support
- The cost for an out-of-state student-athlete to attend ASU for one year is $71,660 on average between tuition, team travel, equipment, sports medicine, food and nutrition and tutoring/academic resources.
- Arizona State ranked No. 1 in the Pac-12 Conference for the second year in a row in 2023 for Academic Progress Rating which tracks achievement in the classroom year over year ahead of Stanford, Cal, USC and UCLA.
- Some more metrics that show just how much these hard-working student-athletes have achieved with your support: 3.3 average GPA (fall 2022), 76% of student-athletes received “Scholar Baller” status (3.0 GPA or higher), 110 student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA and 138 Academic All-Americans since 2000, which ranks second in the Pac-12 during that stretch.
