Learn more about your impact

Without private support for this fund, graduate students in the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation studying science education who face financial hurdles may not be able to continue their educational journey. With your support, students will be able to continue their studies and build solutions to the many challenges of modern education.

Your gift honors Professor Staley’s memory and ensures his transformative impact endures at Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Professor Staley participated in and later led for nearly three decades excursions to Camp Tontozona, where students in science education studied in the outdoor environment. Many students said those three days were important and memorable experiences in their education coursework. Professor Staley was a key participant in designing and developing TEAMS, an innovative teacher education program for mathematics and science with a middle-school focus. He also was involved for many years in science education on the Hopi Indian Reservation.
