Learn more about your impact

Every summer, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication brings high school students from throughout the country to ASU for hands-on experiences in media. A gift to Camp Cronkite supports the costs of participants' room and board, and meals, camp counselors, transportation for field trips, program faculty, equipment and lab usage, and supplies and materials.

“I've gained confidence, some friends, great memories, and excellent information that I will be putting to use next year! My favorite part was learning from experienced professors and then having fun with campers at the movies and at the pool. The casual, accepting environment was great!”

— Ish V., 2025 Camp Cronkite participant from Coppell, Texas

My favorite aspect was all the new connections I made and being able to be taught by the professors of the school. That helps give me an insight of what college life would look like here.”

Bellina C., 2025 Camp Cronkite participant from Pueblo, Colorado
