Donations to the Italian Fund at ASU's School of International Letters and Cultures will expand life-changing opportunities for students to thrive in our globally connected world. The Italian Program equips students with advanced proficiency in Italian and deep cultural understanding — skills that are highly valued in today’s multicultural society and economy and that open doors to careers in business, law, journalism, tourism, the arts, sustainability, design and more.
Impact of donor support
Your gift can help subsidize study abroad experiences, internships, teaching assistantships, research projects with faculty and scholarships that make immersive learning accessible, easing financial burdens so students can fully engage with transformative academic, professional and cultural experiences in Italy and beyond.
I started my Italian studies at ASU with the simple intention of learning another language, but I graduated with a toolkit of skills that helped me kickstart a flourishing career abroad. Through the department's purposeful programming around environmental change, mass media, and other vital contemporary topics, the department's faculty elevate your ability to think critically and creatively (while also having enormous amounts of fun!). The department also supported me on my path to becoming a dual Italian American citizen at a time where multiculturalism is more important than ever. When you contribute to the Italian fund, you are opening up a new world to students of all disciplines whose careers will stand out because they spent time in the program learning from Italy's language, culture and history. Two years on, I can't recommend the program enough! Andiamo, Sun Devils!"
