Learn more about your impact
The Kelsey A. Meyer Memorial Scholarship for Professional Flight at Arizona State University helps aspiring pilots get closer to realizing their dream of becoming a professional pilot.
Kelsey was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her passion for flying ignited after receiving a gift certificate for an introductory flight lesson on her 13th birthday. She knew then and there that she would be a pilot. She immediately found her place within the ASU student pilot community. Kelsey was a proud member of Women in Aviation International and Alpha Eta Rho International Aviation Fraternity, and graduated summa cum laude from ASU in 2009. She was a supportive, encouraging and dedicated flight instructor to many students in the Phoenix area until her passing in 2011.
This scholarship is offered in the beauty of her spirit and to carry forward her passion for flying.
