Earth and Space Open House

Learn more about your impact

The School of Earth and Space Exploration Open House is a free public outreach service organized by our graduate students each semester, allowing the community to engage with students and learn about the many dynamic science projects our students are working on. The event features public lectures, telescope viewings, interactive exhibits, 3D planetary shows and exciting demonstrations by experts in astrobiology, astronomy, the moon, Mars, meteorites, geology, cosmology, robotics, space exploration and more.

Your gift helps graduate students pay for facility fees, public events expenses and interactive exhibits that educate the public on science.

I hope you will join me in making a gift to the ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration Open House Fund. Open house is a wonderful opportunity for the community to interact and engage with our graduate students and experience the exciting research in Earth and space exploration. I am deeply grateful for the support and the continued commitment of our community for our student’s success."

Meenakshi Wadhwa, Director, School of Earth and Space Exploration

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
