Learn more about your impact

The Televerde Foundation’s mission is to provide currently and formerly incarcerated women with the personal and professional development programs necessary to successfully join and advance in the global workforce. Its approach inspires creativity, imagination, self-confidence and social skills while addressing issues that cause recidivism. The program enables women to break the generational cycle of poverty and incarceration by becoming positive role models, changing the lives of future generations and building stronger communities. Your gift supports educational opportunities and scholarships, in-person faculty support, learner registration fees and other allowable expenses.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Many of these students have gone home where they are successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, venture capitalists, impact investors and senior government officials. The come home with a powerful American business education taught in a culturally sensitive environment, and respectful of the nuances of our cultural differences."
