Learn more about your impact

As promised in its charter, ASU dedicates itself to excellence, equal access to higher education and meaningful societal impact. To honor that mission, ASU positions itself to welcome, prepare and graduate the highest number of American Indian students in the nation. ASU also seeks to learn from, serve and collaborate with tribal nations in true partnership and respect. The Office of American Indian Initiatives works closely and strategically at every level of the university to advance learning, discovery and partnership opportunities that support the success of our students and the tribal nations and communities we serve.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
