Putting Kids on the Map

Learn more about your impact

ASU's giant Arizona floor maps inspire hundreds of grade school children across the state of Arizona each year to see the world differently. The 22- by 17-foot vinyl floor maps are lent to teachers around the state at no cost. With your support, the Arizona Geographic Alliance will be able to pay for new giant maps that can be shared with more teachers and used by elementary students to learn about geographic concepts in exciting and interactive ways.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
