This fund awards an annual scholarship to an incoming first-year or transfer student from the state of South Carolina.
I am self-supporting and am on disability, so having the extra money allows me to not have to pay as much out of pocket and makes my situation less stressful, allowing me to focus more on my studies.
Impact of donor support
In 2024, the ASU Alumni Association awarded over $44,000 in chapter scholarships. Since the 2010 academic year, ASU Alumni chapters have awarded over 600 scholarships, totaling more than $600,000. These scholarships are more than just financial relief – they’re a gateway to a vibrant community of Sun Devils that spans generations, offering a chance to grow, thrive and engage.
ASU is so much more than just Tempe, Arizona. It is a community that has a positive impact around the world. Spreading the word of ASU is an opportunity to provide knowledge to many without exclusion, which is the true purpose of education and learning.
