Gifts to the Babble Boot Camp Fund support the first longitudinal research study designed to systematically counteract speech, language, cognitive, and motor challenges when the risk for these is known at birth.

Parents receive special training from pediatric speech pathologists and occupational therapists to boost their infants' communication, cognitive and motor skills. Early results in infants with a metabolic risk factor show evidence of success.

Your gift will go towards expanding the study to include more children who might benefit, for instance infants born preterm, infants with Down syndrome and infants with hearing impairment.
