Madhav and Duangporn — proud Sun Devils, accomplished professionals and devoted parents — are passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape their success. With advanced degrees in engineering from Arizona State University, they know firsthand the power of education and opportunity.

Madhav began his career in the high-tech industry after earning his master’s in chemical engineering from ASU. Seeking a broader business perspective, he later returned to pursue an MBA at ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business. Duangporn earned both her master’s and PhD in industrial engineering at ASU and went on to build a successful career grounded in her academic achievements.

Together, Madhav and Duangporn established this scholarship to support ASU students who are aspiring engineers and in need of financial assistance. The Kalaga Family Scholarship Fund helps students not only pursue their degrees but also gain meaningful, hands-on experiences that prepare them for the real world — opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
