Learn more about your impact

The American Indian Policy Institute (AIPI) Indigenous Leadership Academy works with emerging Indigenous leaders from throughout Arizona and the nation; there has never been a leadership program like this before in the country. As of Spring 2024, there are 112 graduates from 5 cohorts. They represent 15 tribes from 8 states and Washington D.C., with at least half being from Arizona. The program inspires and motivates participants in how to execute strategies and lead change by expanding their knowledge, skills and networks to address long-term issues faced by Indigenous governments, communities, associations and corporations.

Impact of Donor Support

Because of you:

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state's public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
