Learn more about your impact

Hard work, high standards and a family atmosphere bring a special pride to the ASU Sun Devil Marching Band. The band has appeared in the Rose Bowl halftime show and two Rose Parades, and received the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Trophy, the highest award given at the collegiate level. Performing in Sun Devil Stadium, the band features new musical arrangements, precision drills and pageantry at all home games. Your generosity supports the operational and programmatic needs of the band at the discretion of the band director.

Impact of Donor Support

  • The cost for an out-of-state student-athlete to attend ASU for one year is $71,660 on average between tuition, team travel, equipment, sports medicine, food and nutrition and tutoring/academic resources.
  • Arizona State ranked No. 1 in the Pac-12 Conference for the second year in a row in 2023 for Academic Progress Rating which tracks achievement in the classroom year over year ahead of Stanford, Cal, USC and UCLA.
  • Some more metrics that show just how much these hard-working student-athletes have achieved with your support: 3.3 average GPA (fall 2022), 76% of student-athletes received “Scholar Baller” status (3.0 GPA or higher), 110 student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA and 138 Academic All-Americans since 2000, which ranks second in the Pac-12 during that stretch.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
