As a speaker and writer of English and Urdu, I have invested great time, effort and thought in translating archived pieces from Hayden Ferry Review’s past issues into Urdu, my native language, so that my tongue receives a place of recognition among other languages known and read at ASU, and America, at large. Receiving this award is an acknowledgement of my work and an appreciation of my achievements in this internship thus far.
