You give students the means to imagine a better world. The School of Arts, Media and Engineering offers a dynamic, cross-campus, student-customizable curriculum that prepares students with tangible skills in new media, AI, games, wearable technology and more. We believe the liberal arts degree for the 21st century needs to create citizens who are conversant with hard skills in emerging technology as well as with the soft skills that employers increasingly demand. The aim is to empower students to become socially aware, critically-thinking global citizens who strive to bring about positive change.
Impact of Donor Support
- More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
- And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.
