By making a contribution to the African and African American Studies Book Scholarship Fund, you are making a direct impact on students with limited resources, enabling them to excel in their studies and research within the African and African American Studies program. Jai Young Park, an ASU alumnus who earned his BA in English (1997) and PhD in English (2004) at the university, established this scholarship fund. Park's commitment to supporting students in the field of African and African American Studies is reflected in this scholarship initiative. Park is currently an associate professor and chair of the Department of English Education in the College of Education at Chonbuk National University in Korea. Your contribution helps students pursuing this important academic discipline achieve academic success and advancement.
