Thanks to your support, The Student Preparedness Initiative: Readiness Inspired by Tradition program allows American Indian students to start their ASU journey with a free, two-week program that helps first-time freshmen adjust to campus life, connect with friends and identify mentors. A gift from generous donors like you offers students awards that can offset lost income and increases a student's chance of returning to college after his or her first year by 87 percent.
Impact of Donor Support
- More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
