Learn more about your impact

ASU is a comprehensive public research university, measured not by whom it excludes, but by whom it includes and how they succeed. Through their philanthropy, ASU Foundation Parent and Family Philanthropy Circle supporters are helping today's Sun Devil's become tomorrow's leaders. Their generosity creates an environment at their student’s university that is welcoming and supportive — where students don’t just survive but thrive academically and personally.

By making a gift to the ASU Foundation Parent & Family Philanthropy Circle, you are advancing the ASU Charter by:

  • Helping students achieve their dreams through scholarship support.
  • Keeping students in school and on track to graduation.
  • Offering free tutoring support for all students.
  • Delivering resources that provide relief and support for students in dire, unexpected financial need.

"I support the ASU Foundation Parent and Family Philanthropy Circle because ASU has made my sons' college experiences full of positive memories. Whether it’s starting the journey at Camp Carey, joining clubs on campus, or getting the insightful advice of professors and counselors when applying for internships and post graduate employment, Arizona State has it all for every student, regardless of background. Why not give to a school that truly helps students, and their families have their own success and experience? I am honored to do my small part to help provide positive experiences and outcomes for so many students and families at ASU!"

Impact of donor support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. Thanks to our donors, more than 7,000 ASU students have received upwards of $32 million in scholarships with more than $39 million raised.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • Important initiatives continue. More than $320 million in new gifts and commitments support ongoing initiatives at ASU.
  • The spirit of generosity abounds. In the past year, more than 100,000 individual, corporate and foundation donors stepped forward to help the ASU community.
