Mr. Erickson is President of Actuarial Strategies and Tactics (AST) and founded the company in 2012. AST has become a nationally recognized actuarial consulting firm emphasizing insurance program management in concert with long-term, partnership-based clients, becoming an industry standard for active actuarial and consultative insurance program management. AST is known for turning problem blocks of business into success stories. With your support, the Ericksons intend to provide scholarship support to students who possess an interest in developing a personal philosophy regarding the application of mathematical and actuarial principles to societal challenges.
Impact of donor support
- More learners can pursue higher education. Thanks to our donors, more than 7,000 ASU students have received upwards of $32 million in scholarships with more than $39 million raised.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
- Important initiatives continue. More than $320 million in new gifts and commitments support ongoing initiatives at ASU.
