Your gift supports the critical work of the Center for Global Diversity and Conservation Science, where we have built a first-of-its-kind coral reef monitoring and alert system capable of detecting changes such as hot-water bleaching and destruction caused by coastal development.

Land-based activity has a major impact on neighboring coral reefs via pollutants, sedimentation, and enhanced human access to reef resources. We are working to integrate land- and sea-based ecosystems in a ridge-to-reef type of program, which will transform the science, knowledge, and narrative about coastal ecosystem conservation, management and resource policy.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
