College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Fund

Learn more about your impact

The ASU CAMP Scholars Fund assists students across all majors who are from migrant and seasonal farmworker backgrounds. Your gift helps these students succeed in higher education by defraying the cost of needed supplies like graphing calculators for STEM majors, CLEP fees, professional attire for internships, housing and travel to academic conferences. You can validate the aspirations of students who are working hard to build their future and those of their families.

Without private support for this fund, students from migrant and seasonal farmworker backgrounds would not be able to participate fully in their education due to financial worries and lack of material support. Having more students from agricultural and rural backgrounds attain degrees will increase opportunities for themselves, their families and ultimately their communities.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
