Learn more about your impact

In 2016, Arizona State University, the nation’s most innovative university, and the Mayo Clinic, the world leader in patient care and research, formalized a dynamic relationship of more than a decade when they formed the Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University Alliance for Health Care.

As part of that multifaceted partnership, when Mayo Clinic School of Medicine began welcoming cohorts of students at its Scottsdale site, the four-year medical training program included courses on the science of healthcare delivery jointly developed and taught by ASU and Mayo Clinic faculty.

Students at all of Mayo’s campuses receive a medical degree from Mayo Clinic as well as a certificate in the science of health care delivery, jointly conferred by ASU and Mayo Clinic. Students also have the option to pursue a master’s degree in the science of health care delivery from ASU by taking an additional 12 credit hours, available online.

Your gifts support the innovation and advanced learning and collaboration needed to advance healthcare education.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

Our family believes in giving back and sharing the blessings we have received financially and through our time."
