As a leader in sustainability, Arizona State University champions sustainable behaviors among our campus community through education, hands-on learning and engagement. It goes beyond awareness campaigns; it's about creating meaningful participation, shared ownership and long-term commitment to environmental, social and economic well-being. The Sustainability Practices department is the operational office that collaborates with other departments to set, maintain and achieve high-level sustainable practices across our campuses.
Your support will help us continue developing and implementing our sustainability programs, including the Green Devil Ambassador staff program, student Eco Rep interns, the Sustainability Recognition Program, Campus Sustainability Month, Earth Day Every Day Month and our Earth Day Walk at Mountain America Stadium.
Our team defines measurable sustainability goals and objectives, such as reducing waste, lowering emissions, improving resource efficiency and expanding sustainability literacy, while aligning with academic, operational and community priorities. These goals translate broad sustainability values into actionable steps individuals can take to build a culture of sustainability at ASU.
