The Joyce and Walter Winston Endowed Scholarship was created in 1999 with donations from the Winston’s, and from friends, who wished to honor them. It is intended to assist learners enrolled in continuing and professional education trainings provided by ASU’s Nonprofit Management Institute (NMI), within the Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation and the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. NMI offers the highest quality, most relevant, and timely trainings for those who lead, manage and support the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.
