The Interplanetary Initiative has given me an opportunity to study in a completely interdisciplinary environment. I have had ample opportunities to research space technologies with other students from different fields of studies. One fun experience I had with the Interplanetary Initiative was exploring pandemics in space. In one of my Inquiry courses, our class had lots of laughs and unique conversations discussing how low gravity affects our biology. The most valuable part of my experience with the Interplanetary Initiative was participating in the SpaceHack for Sustainability, which eventually turned into my undergraduate thesis. I led an interdisciplinary team that maximized our 24 hours in the competition.”
