College of Nursing and Health Innovation

Excellence

ASU College of Nursing and Health Innovation response to the budget cuts is to protect, first and foremost, the high quality of education we offer at the College. Temporarily reducing enrollment enables the College to maintain excellence in our nursing education and research programs, such as pediatric nursing and healthy aging, without sacrificing quality.

Access

ASU more than doubled the number of nursing graduates, per state mandate, to 300 in academic year 2006-2007. This is a large increase from the average of 160 student admissions to the pre-licensure nursing program in the 2003-2004 academic year. With more than 2,000 students and 8,200 alumni, ASU maintains one of the largest on-site nursing programs in the country.

Impact

With scholarships and fellowships support, professorships and more, together we ensure that our students dream, discover and deliver excellence in nursing education and research, evidence-based practice and healthcare innovation.
