Women & Philanthropy offers these opportunities to help provide direction and leadership for the organization and its investors. All active investors are eligible for consideration to participate on one of these committees.

Membership

This committee aids in the identification and recruitment of new members and supports the operations, programming and activities to retain current members. Members of this committee focus on recruiting women who have a passion for education, ASU and enhancing the community, as well as the financial capacity and desire for philanthropic investment.

Investment

Members of this committee select ASU program and scholarship requests for funding consideration by the full membership. Members of this vital committee dedicate many hours to evaluating submitted proposals against Women & Philanthropy guidelines, conducting site visits and research for programs selected for further consideration, aiding in program and scholarship follow-up and reporting, and providing support to funding candidates selected to present to the full membership.

Education Advisory

This committee advises the Women & Philanthropy director on speakers, topics and events designed to advance the education of members on the accomplishments and achievements at ASU. Education events are aimed at exemplifying how philanthropic support at ASU makes a difference.

In addition to committee roles, there are many opportunities within ASU for Women & Philanthropy members to participate in and contribute to the future of funded programs and students. Opportunities include advisory boards, endowed chairs and professorships, scholarships and much more.
