Women & Philanthropy has an established pooled fund within the ASU Foundation to provide funding in support of advancing ASU as a New American University. Funds support initiatives and programs that help fulfill the vision of excellence, access and impact.
These funds are evaluated and disbursed by the Women & Philanthropy Investment Committee and full membership. All current, active ASU programs may request funding from Women & Philanthropy in accordance with the funding calendar and guidelines.
For the 2nd year, Women & Philanthropy will offer a Category A grant which will fund ONE grant in the amount of $100,000. We will seek a program that emphasizes one or more of the guiding principles of the New American University… academic excellence, broad access, and meaningful, positive impact on the economic, social, cultural and environmental health of the diverse communities we serve. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your best.
The balance of the Women & Philanthropy Pooled Fund will provide Category B funding for investment in projects with high levels of impact and innovation that embody the guiding principles of the New American University.
Thank you for your time and interest in Women & Philanthropy funding. We look forward to reviewing your grant applications. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss this grant process further.
The deadline to submit grant applications for the 2009-10 funding cycle is now closed. Women & Philanthropy funded programs will be announced in March 2010. Applications for 2010-11 will be available in August 2010.
