The ASU Alumni Association serves and unites ASU’s worldwide alumni base of 310,000 graduates. Through programming, services and a strong membership program, the association seeks to create a stronger alumni and university community. Membership is open to all graduates and ASU supporters.
The association serves as the university’s tradition-keeper. It honors ASU’s history by sponsoring the annual Founders’ Day celebration, by recognizing the 50-year alumni class at Golden Reunion and by sponsoring Homecoming class reunions.
Serving the alumni of ASU is at the heart of the ASU Alumni Association’s mission. It communicates with alumni through ASU Magazine, newsletters and e-mails, as well as the alumni Web site. The association facilitates an active network of 50-plus alumni chapters and clubs and offers a range of benefits to its members.
The association connects the next generation of Sun Devils with ASU through Sun Devil Generations, a family organization dedicated to introducing the children of university graduates to ASU, and through the Student Alumni Association, which builds connections between current students and alumni. The association also offers scholarships, including the Medallion Scholarship program, a scholarship and service opportunity available to high-performing Arizona high school students.
The association also continues its tradition of sponsoring programs that better the university. The organization hosts ASU Day at the Capitol, a legislative advocacy event, and engages in membership campaigns to bring additional alumni into the association, which helps ASU increase its alumni giving rate.
