Arizona State University. The foundation is organized into the several key areas listed below.
 Business and Resource Services
Under the leadership of Judy Van Gorden, this office supports the cultivation and development activities of the foundation and the university by providing a wide range of services, including financial services, gift processing and human resources. The office collaborates closely with units across the foundation and university to provide the infrastructure to enable others to achieve their goals and objectives.

Presidential Investors
Under the leadership of Jackie Norton, this office supports the fund-raising mission of Arizona State University at the presidential level, which is defined as investments of $1 million and above. As part of this strategy, the office collaborates with the ASU and ASU Foundation presidents to execute appropriate cultivation, engagement and solicitation plans for individuals with the capacity to invest at this level.

 University Development
Under the leadership of Gregory Leet, this office is responsible for major and principal investment fundraising for all colleges, schools and centers of impact across ASU’s four campuses. The office is also responsible for estate and gift planning, foundation relations, corporate relations, as well as sustaining, major and principal gift fundraising within the central foundation.

 Communications and Marketing
Under the leadership of Ann Toca, this office is responsible for executing communications and marketing strategies for the foundation and its affiliates, including the ASU Parents Association and Arizona Technology Enterprises. The department’s products include marketing collaterals, Web sites, presentations, newsletters, media releases, fund-raising proposals and solicitations, and event management.

 President’s Office
Patti Reiter works closely with the foundation president to determine strategic initiatives and implement recommendations to improve foundation service, clarify policies and resolve critical issues. She serves as a consolidator, project director and resolution channel.

 General Counsel
David Bell advises foundation staff on a variety of legal issues in the areas of gifts, fund raising, taxes, employment, real estate, investment and corporate law.

Human Resources
Under the leadership of Rena Cruse, this office is responsible for the recruitment and orientation of new foundation employees; managing payroll, compensation, employee benefits and training; and overseeing other human resources programs and services.

Under the leadership of Karen Greene, this office oversees prospect management and research, development reporting, stewardship, information technology and scholarship administration. Additionally, on an interim basis, she oversees the office of annual giving and parents.

Under the leadership of Don Couvillion, this office directs the real estate activities of the foundation, including receipt and disposition of real property donated to the foundation. The office also oversees the foundation’s entrepreneurial activities such as SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, and the Brickyard.
